Deleting the Sync Module and re-adding to the System could also work. Connect the Sync Module only to the 2.4 GHz band WiFi. If you see a solid green and blue light on your Sync Module, it means the device is connected to Wi-Fi and the internet connection is working properly. Make sure your router is operating on the 2.4GHz as the Blink Sync Module doesn’t currently support 5GHz Wi-Fi. You may also get a Wi-Fi extender (if you don’t already have one) to boost your Wi-Fi coverage. You can quickly resolve this issue by bringing your router closer or taking the Sync Module closer to the router (at least 23-30ft closer). The Sync Module won’t receive strong network signals, hence poor connection. This usually happens if your router is too far from the Sync Module. If you see blue or green blinking light on your Sync Module, it indicates the device is connected, but the connection is poor. More so, check that your router is operating on the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and disable any active VPN on your phone. Then wait 10 seconds and plug it back in. You can do this by unplugging the cord from its power outlet. If it doesn’t reconnect, reboot the Sync Module. Then wait a few minutes to see if the device will reconnect automatically. To troubleshoot this issue, start by rebooting your router (unplug it from the power outlet and plug in back in). And your Sync Module may show offline in the Blink app if this happens.
